Reminder to Grads and Parents that tickets for the UVIC Commencement Ceremonies have now been mailed out to all families, Tickets can be printed, or shown by phone at the front door. each ticket has the seat number and row and QR code that will be scanned at the door. Parking information for the Farquhar Auditorium can be found https://www.uvic.ca/security/parking/map/index.php.

Prom Sales: are still in effect until June 12th. Please make sure all forms are completed and payment is made either on School Cash online or in the front office.
Grad Cap and Gowns: Will be distributed in the gym at lunch on Wednesday, June 7th, 2023.
Registration still open for Dual Credit courses
Students can receive college/university credits for FREE at Belmont in Grade 12.
Students can get earn college/university credits to give them a head start on their first year.
Instructors from Camosun come to Belmont so students do not need to travel to the college.

The Belmont Daycare visit’s Ms. Elizondo’s English 11 class.
The Belmont Daycare had a visit with Ms. Elizondo’s English 11 class. English students have been preparing for a full month writing and illustrating books for this event. It was a wonderful, fulfilling, and fun event for both preschoolers and students. A special thanks to Sarah Baas for her guidance and shared resources, and April for printing our books.
Cultural Week at Belmont
Thank you to everyone for organizing and hosting a tremendous Cultural Week! It was a fantastic event that was enjoyed all week, by the whole school community. A big thank you to all of the teachers and staff volunteers, especially Ms. Boyte.
Belmont Bulldog Track and Field
Huge congratulations to all the Belmont bulldogs who competed in the Lower Island Championships at Centennial Stadium yesterday. Many of our Belmont Athletes made it on to the Island Championships. Fantastic results from Sophie V, William D, Cash A, Chase D, Elijah B, Issaac B, Emmanual C, A. Stan, Marley B, Noah H, Luis A.
Also, a huge congratulations to Sophie V. who competed at the BC High School Multi Sport Championship this past Friday and Saturday in Delta. With personal bests in high jump, 800 metre, long jump, hurdles and sprints. Way to go!
Congratulations to the Climbing Academy
Congratulations on an outstanding performance to all our Climbing Academy students at our final competition at Stelly’s last Friday! Each and every student took on new challenges with skill passion, and determination, pushing their limits and supporting one another throughout the competition. Their performance truly resonated, with several students making the podium!
