Dear Belmont Students and Families

It’s been an amazing fall at Belmont! In addition to great learning, we’ve wrapped up the year with an incredible winter concert, fun spirit weeks, and so many great moments together. Our athletes excelled this fall season – from the Junior Varsity Bulldogs’ 9-1 football record to exciting volleyball performances and strong efforts in soccer and cross-country. They showed resilience, sportsmanship, and school pride, earning the Volleyball Fair Play Award and even national recognition through the NFL Canada Way to Play Award.

As we head into the holidays, students need to ensure they understand their progress in classes. Parents/Guardians and students are encouraged to stay in close communication with teachers. Counsellors can also be reached here.

When we return from winter break, there will be just over three weeks of regular classes before we move into semester 2. A highlight will be January 21, when Grade 12 students present their capstone projects!

This Friday, we’ll celebrate the end of 2025 with our Winter Wonderland Pancake Breakfast and activities on an altered schedule:

  • 9:00 – 10:00 – Breakfast and activities
  • Block A – 10:00 – 10:53
  • Block B – 10:59 – 11:52
  • Lunch – 11:52 – 12:32
  • Block C – 12:32 – 1:25
  • Block D – 1:31 – 2:24

Enjoy your holidays, recharge, and come back ready for an awesome start to 2026!
