Sports Section

This month both the Sr Boys and Sr Girls Basketball teams have had 3rd place finishes in basketball tournaments, and this weekend the Sr. girls team will help the RCMP in hosting the Mountie Cup Sr Girls tournament at Belmont and Royal Bay.

Our tier 1 Junior boys basketball team won their opening tournament of the new year in dramatic fashion with a 3 pointer at the buzzer by Grade 9 student Ryder Rajotte.

We wish all our teams good luck in their upcoming playoffs as our Tier 1 teams attempt to qualify for the island championship ships

Police Camp

It is with great excitement that we announce that C.J. Montenegro has been selected to this year’s Police Camp. C.J.’s application was selected out of a very competitive field of many applicants. This year, Police Camp will take place in Esquimalt, over spring break. It is a leadership program that introduces candidates to a variety of policing scenarios. C.J. will also be connecting with other like-minded students who will all learn more about teamwork and leadership. It will undoubtedly be a fun and great experience. Congratulations C.J. !
